Savour a moment of peace through the mesmerising experience of calligraphy.
Copperplate, a commonly used name to describe the English Roundhand produced since the 16th century, is characterised by an open flowing hand and contrasts of thick and thin strokes deriving from the metal pointed nib.
This workshop will introduce to you the lowercase alphabets of the Copperplate font. Focus will be on forms, structure and spacing in detail.
Suitable for complete beginners as well as those who would like to improve their practice from modern calligraphy.
Each participant is entitled to two complimentary practice sessions that take place on a Saturday each month.
